1. General Information About Applications

Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 sets out the rights of the data subject. The Law refers to the data subject as the “relevant person” and grants that person the right to make certain requests concerning the processing of their data. Pursuant to this Article, the rights of the data subject are as follows:

  1. To learn whether their personal data is being processed;

  2. To request information if their personal data has been processed;

  3. To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose;

ç) To know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom their personal data has been transferred;

  1. To request rectification of their personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately;

  2. To request erasure or destruction of their personal data within the conditions set out in Article 7 of the Law, titled “Erasure, destruction or anonymisation of personal data”;

  3. To request that the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data, or the erasure or destruction of data upon the data subject’s request, be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred;

  4. To object to a result arising against the data subject through analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems;

  5. To claim compensation where the data subject suffers damage due to the unlawful processing of their personal data.

Applications must relate to the applicant personally. An application cannot be made to request information about another person’s personal data. If NAR EMAYE DÖKÜM METAL SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) has doubts about the identity of the applicant, it may request further information from the data subject for verification purposes. If the Company establishes that an application has been made on behalf of another person, all rights of action and claim of the Company are reserved.

You may submit your requests concerning the rights set out above to the Company, in its capacity as data controller, in writing or by the various methods prescribed by the Personal Data Protection Board. If the application is to be made in writing, this form should be printed out and used. The form should be placed in an envelope marked “Request for Information Concerning Personal Data”. The application form may be sent to us:

  1. by the data subject in person;
  2. by registered mail with return receipt;
  3. to the registered electronic mail (KEP) address recorded in our Company’s name;
  4. through a notary public;
  5. to info@narmet.com.tr.

3. Requests of the Data Subject

You may submit your requests concerning the rights arising from the Law explained above to our Company by means of this form. Your requests will be answered within thirty days at the latest from the date they reach the Company.
