1. General Explanations

The Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) grants data subjects — defined in the Law as the “relevant person” (“Data Subject”) — the right to apply to NAR EMAYE DÖKÜM METAL SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ as data controller in relation to the rights listed in Article 11 of the KVKK concerning the processing of their personal data. Pursuant to Article 13(1) of the KVKK and the relevant provisions of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, applications concerning these rights must be submitted to our Company in writing or electronically, by the methods set out below.

2. Application Methods

Pursuant to Article 5(2) of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, published in the Official Gazette No. 30356 of 10 March 2018, applications made to our Company under the Personal Data Protection Law must contain the data subject’s name and surname and, if the application is in writing, their signature; their Turkish ID number for Turkish citizens, or nationality, passport number or ID number if available for foreign nationals; their residential or business address for service of notices; their e-mail address, telephone and fax number for notification purposes, if any; and the subject of the request.

2.1. Written Applications

Written applications to our Company must be made by submitting a wet-signed copy of the “Application Form”, completed in full and containing the information set out above:

  • in person to our Company, or through a representative by means of a notarised power of attorney demonstrating authority to apply in relation to the rights listed in Article 11 of the KVKK; or by sending it through a notary public to the address “Karpuzsekisi Mah. 47. Cad. No: 8/2 Hacılar / Kayseri”.

2.2. Electronic Applications

Electronic applications to our Company must be made by submitting the “Application Form”, completed in full and containing the information set out above:

  • signed with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature as defined in the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070, to our Company’s registered electronic mail (KEP) address naremaye@hs09.kep.tr; or
  • completed with a wet signature, scanned and sent to the e-mail address info@narmet.com.tr; or
  • by using software or an application developed by our Company for the purpose of applications. (At this stage, our Company has not developed any such software or application.)

Applications submitted to us will be concluded effectively, lawfully and in accordance with the rule of good faith, and answered in writing or electronically, depending on the nature of the request, “as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest” from the date the request reaches our Company.

If our Company identifies any deficiency in your application and that deficiency is not remedied by you within seven (7) days at the latest from the date it is notified to you, your request will be suspended by our Company until the deficiency is remedied.

If the process requires an additional cost, pursuant to Article 7 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, no fee will be charged for up to ten pages; for each page above ten, a processing fee of TRY 1.00 will be charged.

It is important that the content of your request is clear, comprehensible and identifiable in terms of dates. For this reason, the information and documents requested from you in the application form must be completed fully and accurately, and the application must be submitted to our Company by the methods set out above.
